[FREEBIE] Portrait Camera DOF
Softwares: DAZ Studio 4 With IRAY
License: This is licensed for commercial or non-commercial use.
Product Notes
Ok this is a VERY SIMPLE freebie, it's just a camera with DOF directed to Genesis' face.
The camera won't follow the character if you change his/her height, so in this scene i only loaded the head shape and skin, hair earrings, but didn't change the body. If you have a character that has different height, you can parent the camera to the head and then apply the body shape. Depending on the face shape you choose you might have to adjust slightly the focal distance in the camera settings (with the camera selected, the little DOF area should be between the eyes and lips, and/or cover them both or get very close)
Where the camera is located?
Camera Presets>Cherubit
Render has no postwork.
If you feel like recreating this portrait, here is what i used:
Character is Amira by bluejaunte (daz3d)
HDRI is PRO-Studio HDR Lighting System by Colm Jackson(daz3d)
Vicky Hair by Kool (Daz3d)
Earrings from dForce Daydream by peache (daz3d)
Rim Light from Express HDRI Lights Vol 2 by PaperTiger (rend

Thank you very much. I'll check this out.
Hi @crush0269, you can get those values when you load the camera to your scene. I don't have my daz right now but if you download it you can see it there when you click the camera, in the parameters tab, you can get the values
Thanks for this, very much! Also thanks for the info on how you set up the promo.
I was just told about this. Thank you. I have a question though. What camera settings and distance are you (focal length, focal distance, F/stop)? I am trying to recreate yours so I can use it for my stuff and every time I try, it looks totally different. Thanks
