Product Notes
Introducing a new TruForm design: Single-Angled products!
To start off the potential line here is a free tester scene of what single-angle scenes are like.
Basically it's a product that looks from one direction only. On the reverse side there is no detail which does two things:
-Reduces render time as all the props are in view of the camera and nothing wasted.
-Reduces the price of the product by a lot! (Well... future releases anyways)
As for a description of the product itself, this is essentially what you see: a seating area of the 'back yard' or balcony of an apartment with a basic interior to add detail and depth. Walls are individual as well as the props so you can move things around.
Feedback on this kind of design will be greatly appreciated to know whether it appeals to anyone. Try it out, comment what you think. Thank you!

Wonderful - thanks very much!
thanx for sharing 😍
Awesome, thankyou!
Great Work! Thank you!
Thank you ! Beautiful model.
Thank You very much. It looks great.
Thank you very much!
The promo shots look wonderful, but I can't get this to load the runtime/textures and runtime/geometries in DS4.11. Am I doing something wrong? Your mannequin, lecture hall and stadium products load fine and look great in DS4.11. I used ContentPackageAssist to install via DIM all four of your products, but this one gives me a long list of Missing Files and looks just like balloons of blocks when I try to load the scene.
Thanks a lot!!!
Thank you very much!
superb, thanks !!
Thanks again for another awesome work! ♥♥♥
thank you so much, it's lovely!
Thank you VERY much for BOTH versions!!!
it's a very nice setting. the file size is small, but it still looks decent. thank you for sharing this wonderful work! :)
I look forward to trying this out. I have an older machine with a new gpu which is only enough to allow the use of small scenes with Iray. Until now, it could barely handle 3DL in larger scenes. Your idea, and several of the ideas written by others here, should help many people in my situation. Thanks!
Great! Thank you very much!
This is gorgeous, you do such beautiful work, Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
That's nice!.
I enjoy and appreciate all your creations I use them a lot like the department store, relaxing porch, skyscraper balcony. Thank you so very much! Here is your relaxing porch with some extra props and lighting in one of my I ray renders
Thank you to everyone for the comments and taking the time to write them! Your kind words and advice are greatly appreciated and will definitely be considered moving forward. Criticisms of all kinds are welcome
And Thanks for making it available for both Poser & DS (I use both)!
Thank you so much! I'll try it out - as soon as I find my way out of that **magnificent** yacht of yours... ðŸ˜ðŸ˜†
Thank you!
Thank you!
A wonderful piece. Small suggestion: it would be useful if these had the ability to attach somehow to one of your standing products. For example, this would be very cool as an add on for the Small Apartment or the Apartment Bedroom. It would extend the usefulness of your existing inventory while also working as its own standalone piece.
This is FANTASTIC! I am very grateful that you made this for both Poser and DS. I definitely am going to put this in my Runtime. Thank you for your generosity!
I generally like to make complex scenes where I can move the camera around a lot, but sometimes you just need a quick scene, that looks nice, and this idea fills that role perfectly. Thanks, TruForm
great thanks !!!
Thank you very much!
Not commenting on the product - as I haven't tried it yet - but on the idea: Single direction shot sets could be a very useful option. I've got an ordinary "gaming" PC to do my renders on, so I usually use Iray Section Plane Nodes to make most unused parts of larger sets invisible anyway, to keep texture memory load low. Example: When I want to do a render of something happening in a garage, I usuall don't need any exterior at all. It would be nice though, if it would be possible to use different sets together. For example having a living room set using the same window/door setup as the balcony set above, to allow for "follow up" shots.
Love your models TruForm, thank you
Wow ! Thanks much.
A lovely and very well designed little apartment with lots of nice props - thank you very much!

Nice but I would not buy something that looks great from just one angle. I do like sets that are economical with memory, but tiling textures, well optimised geometry and careful design can achieve that pretty well. I have bought some of your more elaborate sets and will continue to do so when I see something that fits into my art.
