Simply unzip the entire contents of the zip file into your content folder.
Then use G3M or G8M and select the braid in the folder "Hair - SmidA - Piratenzopf" and possibly change the colors - done!
I created the braid wrap in Blender during exercises and then added some hair with LamH. It's not perfect, but it's not really bad either.
