For your consideration we offer the British P1738 Heavy Dragoon Pistol. Developed with the intent to standardize martial firearms in Crown service, the P1738 was a handsome, sturdy horse pistol that displayed both the practical design theory and graceful decorative flair of Georgian firelocks. Set up in both pistol bore (,56 cal.) and carbine bore (.66 cal.) these firelocks served well into the 19th century.

This model features a poseable cock and frizzen using the Twist slider in Parameters. The 4K textures are divided by material type: iron, iron stamps for marked areas, leather, stone, wood dark, and wood light for the rammer. These are deliberately light to allow the user to darken and tone for taste or lighting requirements within DAZ Studio Surfaces. The model in the thumbnail was rendered in this manner. The model also responds well to enhanced textures, particularly the flint and woods for scenes requiring even more detail.
