Product Notes
How often have you wished you could still use lots of your old content? Wished that old figures like Aiko 3, V4 etc could benefit from advances like Autofit of clothing, or Autofollow of clothing to the morphs?
This 69 page Tutorial takes you step by step through the process of doing the conversion yourself with Aiko 3. At the end of the process, your TriAx A3 can wear A3, V3, M3, G3F, G3M, G8F and G8M clothing and hair using autofit technology. I provide shaping poses for V3 and M3 to make creating the autofit clones easier, but go through the process so you could do it with G9. I also include an Iray materials setting for the skin (assuming you have the V3 high res texture from DAZ.
The tutorial also shows how to load full body morphs into the figure, and enables A3 to morph into V3 and M3.
All in all, the tutorial modernizes the parametric characters so they don't look as if they're 20 years old. Re-rigging the joints to improve the bends is not covered, though.

The textures are this one: https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-3-0-universal-texture-maps-high-res . And, I can't do the tutorial you asked for, because at the moment I don't know how. When I get there (and it's very slow going) I will do it. But, at the current rate, expect it to be years away.
If i may so bold, if you have the time and will. Can you also make a tutrial to add morphs / movement morphs/ adjustment morphs on bought Dforce clothing for G8F G8M? TX!
Which one are you refering to? I think number one, yes? https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-3-0-universal-texture-maps-high-res https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-3-0-highlight-contour-texture-maps-highres
Yay! Super tutorial. I hope i "get"/ understand all the info, but the tut looks really nice!
Thank you, I can't wait to try it!!
Interesting! Thank you very much!
Thank you. I do hope it's useful for you. I don't think everyone is going to want to update their old figures, but I have come across a number of people who have favourite outfits or characters (I'm in the latter camp) from the parametric era and regret that they have fallen so far behind.
Oh, this is going to be interesting. Thank you for the effort put into this project. I have been waiting for something like this for a long time.
*looks at page count* NICE

Thanks for the reply. And the link. No worry, i can wait years. Take your time and again thank you. Big hug.
