Product Notes

I was struck recently just how few realistic walking/wandering poses there are. The main starting point I normally use is DAZ Starter Essentials G8F Walking B, but that is a limited pool of one. So, I thought I'd do something about it. It's actually quite a bit harder than I thought. Anyway, can I offer 5 poses that are hands in the jacket pockets or using Foxclaw's lovely Smart Phone prop (https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/87343/smartphone-prop) .

There are 3 poses with hands in jacket pockets, 1 pose holding a phone in the left hand & right hand in pocket. The final pose is the main image pose above. There is a zero pose and leg mirrors of all poses. Hand mirrors will come later.

I did have a problem, I admit. The character in the image has high heel feet built in, and I didn't discover this until testing the poses with other characters. I think I have corrected the issue so most G8F characters work properly, but please let me know if I have missed any pose setting.

AbarCadabra, the character I used is very slender, so it's likely the arms will need to be adjusted a bit for the 'Walking with hands in pockets' poses. Probably won't be much more than a shoulder twist needed.

It was exactly the same realisation that hit me too. Came as a real surprise as to just how few freebie walking poses were available. Also you don't normally look at the poses people throw while walking. 'Everyone Knows' how to walk, so you rarely look properly at other people actually doing it. I do hope everyone finds these poses useful. I will add more as time & inspiration becomes available.
