Lighthouse Atop Mt. Diablo Closeup 9590 HiRes - This shelter and lighthouse are at the summit of Mt. Diablo. During WWII they would turn off the light (as would many places would). After the war, as a memorial to the attack on Pearl Harbor it was decided that the light would only be on for December 7th each year. The rest of the time the light remains off. Here's a view without tourists for your render projects.
