Lighthouse Atop Mt. Diablo Panorama 9599 HiRes - A panoramic view from the top of Mt. Diablo, the world's most visible peak. They only turn on the light for my birthday (seriously). This mountain serves as an important visual navigation aid due to its lack of surrounding mountains and it's 40 mile distance from the Pacific. You can see it from the Pacific, San Francisco, as far south as the Grapevine (north of LA), from the Sierra Nevada Mountain Summits and from summits in the Cascade Mountains.
