I was getting fed up with those 2D billboard flames that are part of most Poser candles and decided to try creating a candle flame shader that would work on a 3D flame mesh... further information in the supporting Free Stuff forum topic.

Superbe. Somathing working with Firefly !!! I don't like Superfly, it's too slow when you use big scene as I do (some of my pz3 weights more than 1,5 Go ). Merci beaucoup.
I found that animating selected parameters on the flame material makes it even better. I'm guessing that using the morphs in small amounts together with animating those material parameters will be the key. I'm currently sidetracked into trying to get a 3Delight ShaderMixer version for DAZ Studio working.
Great idea, I'll try and make a SuperFly shader for it and get back to you. Thanks for this effort, it's prompted me to join in, and it's well overdue for us to have a decent candle flame available.
