Thanks Martial. Found a really nice walnut texture on Rendermode I highly recommend for any walnut gunstock. By reducing the bump and adjusting the tiling you can almost achieve a burl appearance when the topcoat is loaded with the base texture as a second layer. Lowering the translucency on the flint after adjusting the color to taste - French or English - works wonders too...

Thanks Paul. Haven't looked into setting up for Poser - challenged already ") The 4k version really pops/ . I like to darken the steel and reduce reflectivity in bright scenes, darken the flint and tighten the grain in the wood in tiles. Also reduce gloss. All matters of taste. Did try to experiment with smoke assets and it worked OK.

any chance of a Poser version? :) looks super, one can see the smoke issuing forth
