Product Notes

I'm a lifelong dog lover who's allergic to cats, so I've never had one, but after looking for cat toy references online, I thought a fuzzy mouse and a fish with dangly bits of yarn would be the easiest to make. (With a softer-looking texture, the polyhedra ball from my Dog Toys, Set 1 could also be a cat toy.) I tried making something with dangling feathers, but I couldn't produce a feather trans map I was happy with, so that kind of toy will have to wait until later!

Promo Credits: Mill Cat (left and center) and HW House Cat (right).

Package includes 2 props in PP2 and OBJ format and 14 material presets in MT5 format.

Set up in Poser Pro 11 but should work in earlier versions of Poser from 9 and up. Not tested in DAZ Studio but should work fine with manually-applied shaders. Modeled & mapped in Cheetah3D for Mac.

Hope you find these useful!

To be fair, I'm going to shrink down an old cat prop so that my pet rats can have a toy. Thank you for the super-variety of props!

thanks a lot, they're awesome and super welcome by my virtual cats! this makes a feline scene just so realistic. btw i'm allergic to cats too. tried to live with some anyways a few years ago, fought for 4 years stuffing myself daily with a bunch of meds... and finally, found a specialist in homeopathy who found just the right globules - my allergy went away in 10 days! only comes back very very rarely and very very mild, when i go overboard with allergenic food, but after a breather or two of ventolin, it's gone away again... right atm, i have 11 feline flatmates! had more too since i lived outside of town for years... and they share all rooms, the bed, whatever. asthma gone! since homeopathy works on a case to case basis, and is different for every individual, what she gave me (pulsatilla) might NOT work for yourself - but i think a try is worth it, with this or another natural therapy. it might or might not work, but at least it's not impossible, and i had up to 18 feline companions spreading their stuff in my habitat!
