Product Notes
flat (-but-full-) moon prop (.duf /.dsf)
~ (as like as it really! is ..;) ~
.. I made, because spherical moons imo often appear too ..*emm*.. yeah, spherical ^^ .. and planes don't allow edge-blend-/rim-transitions or -effects.
Two prop-versions are included: one with and one without (_nbf) faces on the backside (to reduce polycount and/or - in case of emissive shading - unnecessary 'rayshots'). Both have plain UV-coords for easy texturing; one Lo-Rez texture (RGB + Greyscale 512x512 Pixels) is included (rendered in JWildfire 4.10) but come by default just with 'dry' 3DL-materials.
Update: corrective UV-sets included
notes:
~ select the prop and use "point at.." > [your RenderCam] to align the frontside of this moon always to your camera.
~ if you need the whole thing smoother (or smoother rim-transitions), apply one level Sub-Div; polycount kept low enough to allow that.
Use it as you wish.
promo-render-trees are NOT included!.. (this time..;)

Amazing. Thank you, very usefull!!!
**@maneki_neko** huh .. somebody who reads readme-files??.. how unusual! ;) btw: thank you _very much_ for all the funny comments!.. they made my day! ^^
btw thank you for writing in the readme about the "point at" camera thing - i would never have thought of this, you spared me a bunch of annoying failures!
thanks a lot! great prop, nothing more awful than having to turn domes in increments until you finally have the moon in your viewport (and then the rest of the image isn't to your liking) >_< and imma raid your whole series! <img class="emojione" alt="😁" title="" src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/emojione/assets/4.5/png/32/1f601.png"/>
Thank you
Thanks for sharing
