Off the Beaten Path Portion of Route 66 HiRes - It isn't on the map, and I found it by pure chance. This is an OLD section of Route 66 that is NOT part of the modern road. It's down the hill from the current road and it dead-ends. But, this was part of the ORIGINAL ROUTE 66!!!
Just add a model A loaded with suitcases for an historic road trip.
Oh, this is somewhere in Illinois.
