okay I tried this in my ds4.1 beta version and it works perfectly. The issue seems to be with version 4.24. I have no problem using the older version, most of the time I only use the 4.24 for 8.1 and 9 genesis characters.

So I've followed all the steps and gotten the copy surfaces from the torso to paste the surfaces to the genitalia and also changed it to the correct uv. It does change the color but its not an exact match to the skin. For instance, I chose a green character and while its the same green its darker than the rest of the body. Did it with a pale skinned Caucasian character and while both instances match in the viewport, when it renders in Iray the color is off. In the case of hte caucasian character its a good bit more peachy than her actual skin. What am I doing wrong?

I still can't figure it out. What does step 3 of hansolocambo's comment mean? I put G8GenTorso.dsf in the right folder, but I still can't select it on my g8f. If I try dragging G8GenTorso to the g8f, it does nothing. Please help!

hansolocambo : THANK YOU for the step by step explanation!!! I couldn't figure out why copying the surface wasn't working. I don't know WHAT I was doing (or wasn't doing), but you saved my sanity.

Here is how it works : 1/ Copy G8GenTorso.dsf into : My DAZ Library - data - DAZ 3D - Genesis 8 - Female Genitalia - UV Sets 2/ Restart DAZ Studio. 3/ Select a Genesis 8 Female Base Genitalia 4/ Using the Surface Tool (Alt+Shift+M) Select the Torso and from the Surfaces Tab : Copy the Torso Surface 5/ Select now the Genitals Surface with the same Surface Tool and from the Surface Tab : Paste the Torso Surface 6/ Still in the Surface Tab choose the UV "G8GenTorso" now available in your UVs list Surfaces Tab > Genitalia > Geometry > UV Maps > UV Set > Change "Default UVs" into "G8GenTorso"

(RE to chacornac) This product is not a Morph - This UV for G8 Genitalia. Load G8 Gen. Copy G8 Torso Material to Gen and change ([UV] drop-down list box] Default ==> to this product.
