Bubbles for Swarming

Softwares: Daz Studio 4

License: This is licensed for commercial or non-commercial use.

Product Notes

Yes, read that correctly. Bubbles.

This freebie consists of three bubbles. When rising through water, air bubbles don't really remain spherical, the bottom flattens and becomes convex, concave or a bit like a jellyfish around the outer edge. Hence the three shapes.

The bubbles are all 6cm across and can be swarmed.

I can see why you want it. I suspect this is a job for Howie Farkes' UltraScatter as I really don't know how to get the surface position from an object by scripting - I honestly don't know a lot about scripting, I just push what little I do know to the limit. With UltraScatter (the most basic one) you can specify a surface for the items to scatter over. What I don't know from my own experience is whether the surface can be curved as I've only really used it once (to scatter wood carving chips from my wood carving set freebie (https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/97774/wood-chip-carving-set)). From the UltraScatter promo images over at the DAZ shop, the surface can be curved, but I haven't tried it myself. I did get UltraScatter during one of DAZ's many sales and got it for $3.99, which wasn't excessive.

@richardandtracy, all these swarming scripts are my favorite. Would be wonderful if there was a script to attach objects on surface of another object or a prop. I am trying to create an underwater scene, attaching corals to various rocks is far tedious process

Thank you for this idea! Hmm. Putting them in a bathtub could have a whole different context.

Thank you all. Just a very strange set of models, which hopefully makes things look just that little bit more realistic. With any luck there will be a use for them.
