Thank you. The 'Aha !!' over naming is important, resolves a head-scratcher. IIRC, using 'copy' on props/characters *used* to need much lower resource than loading each a-fresh: Is this still true ?? FWIW, we really, really need a 'Flight Engineer' console for Poser, helping to keep track of resources and system limits. For instance, my GPU renders are limited by scene complexity, but when to reduce twin GPU cards' 'vols & buckets', or switch from twin GPU cards to CPU, or CPU on queued Render 'Box' often needs seeing if trial-run renders black, or just crashes...

With regard to props: It depends :D If the prop has internal geometry, then Poser will have decoded it already and will not duplicate the obj file, just create a new PP2 file.. If the prop has external object file, then it will make little if an difference. Bill
