@xznvb6 and @perlk: time ago there has been, for a limited time, a BETA version of the program, but Carrara was never and IS NOT a free program, at least until now. Sorry.

I don't see where you can get Carrara for free. It's $185 on the Daz site, so if someone could PM me where to get for free, I'd appreciate it.
DAZ has a free 3D program Called Carrara 8.5. It uses the .car files. There is suppose to be a way to export Carrara items to a format DAZ can input.
