Comprehension of 3D mathematics is not mandatory because only basic trigonometric functions are used. The Axis-angle representation of actor orientation is fully explained as the basis of Quaternion format. A Python script is included with the tutorial to read Quaternion data, extract angles and find absolute position and orientation of actor in the Poser 3D Universe.
