These textures are great for checking tour UV-maps and fine-tuning the details.I made these when I felt that the internal UV-texture in Wings3D did not have the detail I required. (use that one for the overall check and these for the details). It should work with any other 3D-program also, I use them in Poser often to check my UV-maps!4 different sizes, rotate between these and you will surely find any problems in your UV-maps!
