OK, not a good name but the best I could come up with.

This is a script to randomly scatter objects into a volume, like leaves blowing from a tree, butterflies flitting about fish in a shoal, that sort of thing.

Select a scene object and run the script. First define the space for the swarm. Then the number, up to 10,000. Then define the limits to the variation applied to the random x,y,z rotations and scale. The script has basic collision prevention between swarm members only. It can work with single facet leaves or complete people - but be careful for your machine's stability.

After generation swarms can be scaled, translated and rotated as a group or individual members moved. Try it and see. The promo settings are visible in the image, using 2 slightly overlapping swarms of 2000 single facet leaves.
