Product Notes
My 3D-version of the legendary "Ya-Te-Veo", the maneating Tree (or carnivorous plant) that was supposed in the late 19th century to grow in Central-America and Madagascar, but it was only a hoax. The model comes as a runtime-folder for Poser or DAZ-Studio with all textures and bumpmaps. It has 7 poseable tentacles/tendrils and 3 poseable maw-segments.Please read the "readme.pdf"-file that comes with the ZIP-file for more information.Modeled and textured in Hexagon 2.5, rigged in DAZ-Studio 3 with the DAZ Figure-Setup-Tool.As i did not have Poser i was not able to do a real test in Poser. Any feedback from Poser-users would be appreciated if it do work in Poser too.Update July 20, 2011: Rendersapien from ShareCG.com reported me a possible issue in Poser: The "Maw" sections had a morph called "curve" that must set to zero for each of the 3 "maw" sections or it caused jagged holes in the geometry of the model in those areas when set to one.

Thank you very much! I have slightly modified this fine creature (making the maw and trunk invisible) and using the tentacle branches as tentacles for a Slenderman picture. :)

Verry generous of you. Thanks.
What an amazing predator of the forest. Thank you
Wonderful! There was a British horror flick from the late 50's or early 60's called The "Woman Eater" that featured a giant carnivorous tree. Now I can do a remake!
