Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2026 Jul 01 12:45 pm)
By the way, years ago, I stumbled across an image and was flabbergasted to see that it was Posette in the image; I could have sworn it was V2 or V3 at the *very* least. It's in my Favorites album for that reason. Here's the link to "Hungry Eyes": "Hungry Eyes"
I daresay you'll be blown away like I was ...

I would love to get a copy of that file. Considering that it is on the waybackmachine, I would think that it would be okay.It was a free texture. https://web.archive.org/web/20201010014611/https://sites.google.com/site/plus3d/AnaP4Woman.zip (main site: https://web.archive.org/web/20201010014609/https://sites.google.com/site/plus3d/)
I am blown away totally. It's awesome to see artists spend the time on figures to make them look so nice. These latest Posette renders are very cool.By the way, years ago, I stumbled across an image and was flabbergasted to see that it was Posette in the image; I could have sworn it was V2 or V3 at the *very* least. you will be redirected a few times but it is worth the waiting. ..
Very lovely. I dug through my archives to see if I had that one. The original file was PosetteV3wG.zip posted under the name dphoadley on the now defunct ShareCG. RIP It was sad to see such a community resource go.
I didn't have much luck finding it on the first try, but managed dig it up. It's an older WinZip file with no runtime folders, so some assembly is required. It also uses the older PCF encoding. The utility included with the free version of P3DO explorer can decode it.

Hm... can we do this with all sharecg Downloads? Everytime I tried, it forced to login and I can not download anything.
The really old ShareCG files saved in the archive didn't require a login. If you can track down the original file reference for the download, and it was saved before the login requirement, you can get them. It's still fairly rare to find anything interesting, but I occasionally get lucky. 😁Semicharm posted at 9:51 PM Mon, 29 June 2026 - #4507778

PosetteV3's enjoying hand-me-downs from her big sisters. She is wearing Paris texture map from V4 converted to V3 through Texture Converter 2, Hanna Dress for La femme, Hero hair for Dawn, and using one of Judy's stock poses.

Available on Amazon for the Kindle E-Reader Monster of the North and The Shimmering Mage
Today I break my own personal record for the number of days for being alive.

I use Poser 14 and Windows 11

I had a 2nd look, oh yes you are right, I forgot them. It was a separate prop and I missed this :D now it looks better XD thank you :D I thought it is something I can not change. and the nostrils, I have no clue whats wrong with them, I think it is because of the texture. Are you projecting 2 maps? I notice 2 sets of eyebrows and the nostrils appear incredibly prominent.

And so she is multicultural through some decades of figures ^^
re: nostrils---a lot of the older textures have black spots painted on the head textures, it was a common fake to take care of glowing nostrils. i see it in a lot of V4 textures. i sometimes fix it in Blacksmith or Photoshop.
really enjoying posey's renaissance.

Trying to figure out the newer dynamic hair and cloth system. They work...mostly. However, I couldn't get them to work together at all. The hair collides with the shirts default pose, not the current cloth simulation. I had to pose the shirt, then create a new prop from that to use for the hair sym. It still clips a bit.

COWABUNGA!!! These are truly awesome renders of Posette. Who woulda thunk she could be resurrected and made to look so amazingly realistic and lifelike? I'm truly impressed! Now if someone could do the same thing with the P4 Dork, that would be icing on the cake. The old Poser guys need love too -- right?
Semicharm, you might have to fix the hair issue in Photoshop, which shouldn't take more than a few minutes of your time. It looks like Zenon by PitKlad used Michael 2 textures. He was reuploaded over at https://www.posetteforever.com/dload.php?action=file&file_id=747COWABUNGA!!! i finally tracked the odf shader down, found it near the end of the giant Antonia - Opinions? thread.

Is it real displacement or vertex "displacement"?This is very easy to reproduce, except there are many non-typical Cycle nodes that need to be replaced for actual Cycle nodes. This is okay for P13, but the Principlebsdf node has changed in P14, and there is actually a displacement node now.

have a look here. ODF made a download for us and you can customize the shader if you need too. Also like hborre mentioned, some nodes are not perfect there but it is working for me in Poser 13.Some of you mentioned Odf's shader; I looked in the Freestuff area and couldn't find it there. Where do I look for it, and can it be applied to any Poser figure, such as Apollo Maximus, for example? TIA!

It has been determined that Odf's skin shader is incompatible with Poser 11 because it lacks the PrincipleBsdf node in the material room. I reconfigured the nodes so they utilize the PhysicalSurface root node for Superfly rendering. You should be able to render in Firefly also, but that is untested, atm. I made minor changes to some settings and introduced subsurface scatter for those interested in that feature. Please note, the spots nodes use in the shader are very sensitive to significant changes; test with caution. I did change settings on one node; on that particular node, change the spot size if you want noticeable skin markings. But increasing that value beyond the recommended 0.12 will create blotches, maybe something you desire for and illness. Shader below:

Jancory, Midinick and Semicharm, your renders of Posette are A-aaaaaaaMAZING! Wow! I'm truly impressed with what you've done with her. It's nice to see her still alive and kicking!
