Description

Sally and Fred are the best of friends. In my game he is the most powerful hero the group knows of. Fred is a unicorn and huge Al Pacino fan with a heavy Brooklyn accent. Below is a recounting of Sally's first encounter with Fred. As five o’clock rolls around, and our intrepid heroes are settling down to get some grub, the intercom comes on with Amka calling them to Mr. Jonathan’s office. When they arrive at his office the door is open and he waives them in. “My friends it seems this day has no limits on how crazy it can get. We have reports of a bunch of hicks trying to bag a Unicorn in City Central Park. Yes you heard me right a Unicorn, at this point my reaction to such things is … why not. I need you to get down there and determine if it is the attacker or defender. As such when you get their it is up to you to determine which side you are helping.” Bursting with excitement Sally bounces on her toes, her hands clasped together and biting her lower lip. Her eyes actually seem to sparkle as she whispers “Unicorn.” It seems in some ways she is still just a normal little girl. Outside their cars are waiting, their drivers ready to speed them to City Central Park. Getting out of their black sedans our heroes hear a commotion from somewhere beyond the bushes. Rounding the corner they see a beautiful white stallion with a single ivory horn protruding from its forehead. Its long main flows like stands of silk in the breeze and they swear they can see tiny sparkles floating in the air around it. As they gaze upon this majestic sight four men armed with high powered rifles step into view preparing to shoot. The Unicorn looks at them and speaks; “What da heck do you’s u-mans tink yer doing? Canna feller just mind his own bees-wax with out attracting a whole herd of tourists. An what’s wit da guns! You tinks I am some kinda moose or some-tin. You’s u-mans an yer guns, izza wonder you ain’t blown each otter to kingdom come!” Fred's goal in life is to "improve" the image of unicorns to the public. In his opinion they have a far too girly image and he is planning on giving them a far more macho image. (Armour materials by me)

Nice scene! I just happened to watch the episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow where a magical unicorn turns out to be a vicious killer, so if the most surprising thing about Fred is his Brooklyn accent, then I'm all in favor of his leading the campaign to "improve" the image of unicorns to the public!
