Thread: Which girl do you like best ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
All of the above, each for her own purpose. I have not read all of the posts; I was thinking of how I would use each figure.
While I have purchased other base figures and some products for them, I only use Posette and spin the dials to get what I want, then position and parent hair made for other dolls. I only poly paint with the Grouping Tool to simulate clothing so a higher poly count is no guarantee the grid lines are where I need them.
I also cannot give you measurements, since I prefer "visually correct" proportions: 36-24-36 "looks" wrong on a five foot tall woman and on a seven foot tall woman but "looks" better on a five-foot-eight. Would I use a five or a seven foot tall? Yes, depending on context. Would either have 36-24-36 to intentionally look wrong? Yes, again depending on context.
So, I am back to my first comment about your figures: All of the above, each for her own purpose.
Thread: S E R I O U S ? Who messed up the freestuff section? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The last time I tried to search the Free Stuff was when I was trying to help someone in the Forum find "something like this . . . " That was before last Christmas, I think.
I try to check the site every (other) day and always open everything in the Marketplace (to get a good look at it, since I never use Victoria/Dawn) and the free items to see if they are non/commercial so I know how to label them if I decide to take them. With everything open, I also check for compatible programs and just close anything I cannot run on my system or in Poser.
I also check the Galleries at least once a week, but it is only those I already like and What's New, so no searches tried there.
Most of what I want for site changes have to do with my Wishlist: I really want to organize it by figure, locations, etc. an not just by price, time-on-list, or alphabetical.

Never watched Smallville on the tube but bought all of the boxes instead. My favorite episodes were the ones with other heroes (not just GA, but the Legion, the JSA, etc.).
Thread: What Do You Use Poser For? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I got Poser 5 for game design and resulting animation, then P7, P9, and now PP2014GD. All I need now is to actually get on with it. :)
Thread: What Needs to be fixed in the forum? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Enough, please, with the vanishing scroll bar.
My main problem may be caused by a recent update of my security program, but I will mention it anyway: I am more and more surprised when ANY Rendo page opens correctly, but especially Forum pages, as I usually get "Page not responding" notices which sometimes close the page (refresh will not reopen) or even kick me from the internet. I had also thought the update was making this place run slower, but that seems to be an actual issue for others as well, so I am not sure just how much of the PNR notices are ads being blocked and how much are speed issues where the page is, in fact, not responding.
Thread: OT : name makes ya think ??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
. . . Except for when I am tired and pronounce it "rock on," which is still nice even if by accident. :)
Thread: OT : name makes ya think ??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The name usually goes with the type of posts the member makes. Typically, the less I understand or cannot pronounce the name, the less I understand what they are trying to say. Also, typically, the more I dislike a name, the more I dislike what they say.
Looks at own user name

Thread: OT - The Secret Of Your Existence Answered at 100 Billion FPS? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Douglas Adams already said it is 42 - with as many copies of his books in print as there are, that statement gets read with some frequency, so you are only .42% right.
Thread: The long and winding road... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I an not Flink nor do I represent him/her/them, but the store is currently 30% off. I have some of these but have not installed them yet.
Thread: I need some input... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I always think of this scene from The Addams Family movie:
(Wednesday and Pugsley have a roadside lemonade stand)
Girl Scout: Is this made from real lemons?
Wednesday: Yes.
Girl Scout: I only like all-natural foods and beverages, organically grown, with no preservatives. Are you sure they're real lemons?
Pugsley: Yes.
Girl Scout: Well, I'll tell you what. I'll buy a cup if you buy a box of my delicious Girl Scout cookies. Do we have a deal?
Wednesday: Are they made from real Girl Scouts?
* * *
I would say, make whatever pleases you and then maybe make some add-ons. Of this "package," what would you use the most? Make that first. If you would mix and match more than using a certain style, that sort of makes your project list I would think.
As for something a little different, Grill Scouts going door to door selling outdoor cooking items from a fold-up-sign-up sheet would have an apron and a chef's hat and some unique merit badges. (Wednesday Addams as a Grill Scout . . . just what is on that order sheet?)
Thread: OT Lost 2 years of poserprojects and content by computerscammers | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have never understood why Roxie with a Blade has been posting as a guy. I suppose she can if she wants.
Back to somewhat on topic: I am starting to take notes on what I might want in a new system, including an external HD. I assume the large - boxed units have some sort of internal cooler (being in a case with some sort of power supply), but I am not finding anything definite. Do they?
Thread: HELP! Lost Space Ships | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The title of your thread is amusing. Those poor astronauts! :p
I an not finding the Destination Moon rocket in these, but I only know of it from the movie poster, so you might recognize it from another angle. Though still listed, these are Unavailable:

Clicking on the vendor's name (rj001) will link to his store - some other ship collections and some land vehicles.
Thread: prop grouping / parenting issue, missing parts when duplicating object | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You should be able to save your altered set as a new prop with a name you select, then (re)load it and duplicate all you want or load as many additional lockers as their own props. Just to see what happens, save your changes as a pose and see if it asks if you want to save all of the parts or just the frame, then load the stock prop you downloaded and try to apply the pose. If it changes the stock prop, save the whole thing as a new figure, delete, and reload.
It might not work at all or maybe only parts of it will. If it does, there you go; if not, we have more information. :)
