Supertramp - Brother Where You Bound
That's true. :o) I like your grinning cats as well as the other images.Kenmac - Darn the spinning of the planet we live on, it's always Caturday somewhere eh... 😺
Well so it's been over 2 weeks since I've been here eh...a long arduous 2 weeks. Friday 2 weeks ago Lou got a call from her older Brother that her Mom had been killed in a car accident and she should come home to San Antonio ASAP we packed a couple of bags and and called the Airport and found the next flight to SA was Southwest in about 4 hours made a couple of phone calls to take care of our kidos while we were gone and we left for the Airport. It was tearing me up to see Lou so distraught, we got to SA and rented a car and went to her Moms house her 2 older bros her younger bro and sister were there and we got the full story of what happened. Diane, Lou' Mom was killed by a Drunk Driver who ran a red light and broadsided Diane's car at 55-60 mph and her car burst into flames engulfing both vehicles. the drunk had gotten out of his truck and tried to run but was so drunk he kept stumbling and falling until one of the witnesses tackled him and sat on him till the Cops arrived. Lou' oldest bro Danny handed me the coroners report..cause of was determined to be Fire Inhalation from the state of her lungs throat and nasal passages...meaning she survived the initial impact but died breathing Fire from the car blowing up. I stared at the report for a long minuet then saw Lou looking at me as she grabbed the report from my hands, as she read the report I turned and looked at her 2 older bros and and said this F#@ker has got to die, they nodded in unison, we'd talk more about that later because then Lou Screamed and started shaking and crying uncontrollably. So within 1.5 hours of landing in SA our lives were changed in ways we still haven't realized, so that's how my life has been for the last 2 weeks How bout Ya'll. Hows everyone doing still being creative I hope from the number of pages in the forum and ebots from the the forum looks like it. looks like Mid-J has changed too have to catch up on that. Take me a while going back through things, probably won't say much about them but you can be assured about me looking at all the visions you guys have posted. Going to try doing something in Mid-J now don't know how far I'll get but going to give it a try, I'll give a little more about the last couple of weeks like I said things have changed one of the things is I decided I have to live forever...and The Gods laughed.

Good to see the boys again yeah even the Cat, Zoso hasn't left my side since getting back even follows me to the bathroom even the little rat chuey decided it's safe to sit next to me and Zephyr is in Lou's lap every time she sits down, don't tell me kids don't know who feeds them...just kidding my Grandson Conrad ended up house sitting feeding the boys and girl the last coupla weeks.
On that note a little of what happened with the arraignment of the drunken azzhole that killed Lou' Mom, he was charged wiih DUI, driving with a suspended License from a prior DUI, speeding, running a Red light and Negligent Homicide. The Judge remanded him to county lock-up until his next day in court on Sept 7th so his death is on hold maybe he'll make Bail on the 7th we'll see.

Some more ladies

So Ya'll know a bit about my past, a combat infantry man no qualms about killing for my Country and if need be taking out the Trash in my own Country. Lou's 2 older bros and me promised each other if that SOB made bail one of us would take out the Garbage the others would be that ones alibi. That was before Lou told me her bros Danny and Jackson wanted her to stay in SA and she could have her moms house and be the Matriarch of the Clan, she told them in no uncertain terms when I headed back West she was going with me. She left SA for 2 reasons originally 8 years ago because 1 she fell in Love with me and 2 was to get away from the Drama Twins her older bros. I decided when she said that to me things were going to change big time, I needed to grow a pair and do something I said I would never do again told Lou I need to take a drive around and clear my head she said she needed a couple hrs to talk to her younger brother and sister anyway. I knew what I needed to do so my drive took me to a couple places I needed find what I needed to accomplish my goal, Pawn Shops. When I got back to her Moms house and found Lou in the Kitchen with the 2 youngers I walked up to Lou bent down and kissed her cheek then dropped to one knee opened the box from the Pawn Shop a 2 carat emerald cut in a White Gold solitaire setting and asked her to Marry me. She looked me straight in the eye and said she'd been waiting for 8 years for me to say that. I put the Ring on her finger and Siobhan let out a squeal and told her sis I told you he would eventually ask you, Pat punched me in the shoulder and said finally get to call you Brother. Later that evening Lou said she only wanted one assurance from me of course I said anything...it was not to have anything to do with the plan to get even with that guy that killed her Mom. I said OK whatever she wanted but We need an alternate plan to shove in their faces lets get Married on Sept. 8th or 9th and tell the olders if they don't show In EP for the Wedding or something happens to dude before they will never be welcome on my, our property ever again. She said done deal I said all I need is you babe everything else is Whipcream and a Cherry on top your wish is my command she chimed in oh honey boy it always has been I just don't need to disguise it anymore, how can you not be in Love with that. Of course I always knew it was true Lou has had me wrapped around her little finger since we first got together I just changed the finger the wrapping was on, and that's OK with me, so that's how I broke my promise to myself about never Marrying again and that's OK too when you find the right one your helpless what's a guy gonna do...he's going to get Married is what he's gonna do. Man Barrett Phoenix and Chloe are going to flip out when we tell them tomorrow. My grandson already knows but he promised not to rat us out.

Man if I had any illusions about any kind privacy on the interne I wouldn't be on the Internet. I have killed for my country I have killed in my country and at 72 years old I don't care who knows it. You'd have to be damned good, Delta Force or Seals, to get within a half a mile of my place without me knowing your coming, We'd either be gone or ready for you you're already In Range and I can see you.

Thanks rhol, Lunaseas and Bakapo and everyone else in this thread it can't be said enough that ya'll are the best. I've always considered my self a Chaos Magnet but this last couple weeks wasn't about me. well maybe a little me, it was about Lou. It tore me up seeing her so distraught over her moms death and how she dealt with her grief and how she snapped back and took charge of everything for Diane's Funeral with her with some help of her Sis. It just re-enforced my admiration of how Strong and Determined a woman she is I realized how lucky I've been with her in my life. Now I got to get ready for Brunch with my kids, the real ones not our furry ones, this ought to be a Riot they're gonna dig on me for all the we don't need a piece of paper, she's happy with the way things are, after yawls' mom I swore to never get married again, yeah they're going to beat me up and that's allowed because Lou will be there right by my side and on my side.

Lenord, so sorry to hear this, hope he dies miserably of liver disease but unfortunately that won't keep him away from behind a wheel
Thanks Wendy I'm hoping he gets a Hard 40 that's 40 years before he's even eligible for a Parole hearing, Life would be 20 years before he's eligible for Parole, tell me how that's right. A Hard 40 would basically be a life sentence he'd be close to 80 before he even has a possibility of getting out.Lenord, so sorry to hear this, hope he dies miserably of liver disease but unfortunately that won't keep him away from behind a wheel

That's truly awful. My condolences to your wife, yourself and your family. There's not much else I can say because it's just too horrendous. I hope you can all deal with what's happened and come out the other side.Well so it's been over 2 weeks since I've been here eh...a long arduous 2 weeks.
