sorry for the absence but these days I have been very busy!
The grandchildren and their Christmas activities (choirs, plays and dances) first of all!
I've seen spectacular photos... congratulations to you all!
This photo is of some time ago, taken during a trip to Pisa in Tuscany!
Have a great time! :-)
Hi Clive, I love your upload, that 'spring-green' color of the building in the water is very special looking to me.
@ Sean, your fathers turtoise is just great with all the textures and colors, I'm very curious what was going on in the mind of the turtle, by seeing itself in the mirror ;-)
@ Christo, a very sunny reflection-shot you've posted here. And I loved to see the people dancing in that video. thank you for sharing, my friend!
Have a blessed week, all!

Thank you Mies.
God Bless.

For me very intriguing but still strange work: Marc Bijl is a Dutch artist who lives and works in Berlin. His works are based upon social issues and their use of symbols and rules. This can result in interventions in the public space, sculptures or installations that undermine or underline this perception of the world.
In one of the exhibition halls there was work based on the “pentagon” a unique mathematical figure, the root to the famous golden ratio, Pythagoras, religious symbol and a lot more!!
In some of the pentagons he used bits and pieces of mirrors!!
In the photo you see a lot of reflections, on the left hand, you can discover partly my wife Déanne with a handbag and the legs are the mirror image of my legs (LOL)
Hope you like this upload as a different angle to all your wonderful reflection uploads!!
If you like to know more about the pentagons and Marc Bijl, please search the internet, Wikipedia for instance!!
Regards
Henk

You'll love New Orleans, Tara. It's a fascinating city and the food is to die for. I'm going to be there for Christmas. I've never been there at Christmas time before! I'll be looking for more reflections. In between the food! :)
