Gorgeous clarity in yours Tara. The interior and exterior is joining in fascinating ways. The lights loom over the buildings and the postcard rack is huge.
I love your images, Clive. Very creative. I like the fact that the handle on the coffee pot is almost totally obscured. The whole dynamic with the hand is more interesting that way. Beautiful clarity on both. The candle in the pitcher is beautiful.
Jacomina, I love the way the reflected buildings and the street come all the way to the edge of the images but you have to look harder for the part that is shaded. There are two more reflections of the whole scene in the goblets, and I don't know where the ghost like goblet stems in the more lit section are coming from. It looks like there are goblets stacked on top of goblets. Wonderful shot!
Great captures, Christo. I love the way things look more exciting when reflected in puddles. I've taken some similar ones at the car wash and lube shop where I work. The bottom puddle looks a little bit like a map of Great Britain.

I don't know what the floor is made of. I'll have to go back some time and concentrate on the reflections. I had never shot pictures of a roller derby before when I shot these and I was just hoping they would come out at all. There were several images that I thought would have been a lot better if I had pointed the camera down a bit to get more of the floor. It was great that they had a lot of colored lights hanging from the ceiling that did nice things to the reflective surface of the floor.

But among other things I had written about that beautiful dress of the girl, and the many reflections on the latter, those legs, those sweaters with stripes, the American flag, and that it was my idea, you could not have done better with your camera, my friend!

There is areas where you drive along and very near to beaches.
It is not supposed to snow in the Cape now as it is summer.
I do know that they have gail force winds currently.

Sinfonia dealt gale force blow again 2012-12-10 15:28
Cape Town - The Port of Cape Town has been affected by gale force winds, forcing it to deny access to certain vessels due to safety concerns.
MSC Cruises announced in a statement that the Cape Town Port authority will only allow the MSC Sinfonia, returning from a 3-night cruise from Mossel Bay, to dock at 06:00 on 11 December 2012 - if the wind conditions have eased.

I love the reflections of the sax, Maria! The way you caught you granddaughter in the baloon heart is special!
It is in Cape Town, Mies, on Baden Powell drive between Muizenberg and Macassar. The road runs along the False Bay coast for about 20km, as Christo said.
I do not think I will be able to travel it today, as the wind last night will have blown more sand across the road. The road is then closed until it is cleared. This will add a good 10km to my trip if I have to go out that way today.
Thanks, Christo!

For me very intriguing but still strange work: Marc Bijl is a Dutch artist who lives and works in Berlin. His works are based upon social issues and their use of symbols and rules. This can result in interventions in the public space, sculptures or installations that undermine or underline this perception of the world.
In one of the exhibition halls there was work based on the “pentagon” a unique mathematical figure, the root to the famous golden ratio, Pythagoras, religious symbol and a lot more!!
In some of the pentagons he used bits and pieces of mirrors!!
In the photo you see a lot of reflections, on the left hand, you can discover partly my wife Déanne with a handbag and the legs are the mirror image of my legs (LOL)
Hope you like this upload as a different angle to all your wonderful reflection uploads!!
If you like to know more about the pentagons and Marc Bijl, please search the internet, Wikipedia for instance!!
Regards
Henk

This is the Church of Santa Maria della Spina, a great example of Pisan Gothic.
It was built in 1230 on the banks of the Arno. It 'so called because from 1333, the church kept it as a relic of a thorn (spina in Italian language) from Christ's crown, now exposed in the church of Santa Chiara. :-)
