Description

Still trying to make landscapes in Carrara. If anyone knows of a good way of making a fern please let me know. I made one using a very simple mesh and an alpha map with a plain green shader but dropping it into the surface replicator really slowed things down. Seems odd when a tree is so quick to replicate. I assume there is some Principle that I am ignorant of. Thanks for looking.

Try using your texture as a leaf material in the plant editor then shape the best suited tree, you can re size the tree down and make the leaf bigger (in the editor) By the way what you have here is a pretty cool landscape nice work!

Great realism here. Nice scene and concept. The distance haze works well here!

Good stuff - I was impressed by your English Park image and the landscape stuff really benefits from being viewed at a larger size. As above, nice use of atmosphere.
