Subject: Zip questions

I'm finally getting around to getting my Lyrra WonderWedge textures small enough to download and I don't want to offer the same hassle I've gotten into with other free stuff. I'd like to make them easily downloadable but I don't know how to edit the path. Since everyone has their Poser 4 set up differently-- mine is on drive D-- I want the path to start with Runtime and go into textures/wedge tex. I have a registered copy of Winzip but can't find any option to do this. Any ideas? Emily

Create a dummy path on your HD. Set up the folders on your C: drive exactly like they are set up under the "Poser" folder. Only Start with the Runtime folder. Not "Poser" Example: C:Runtime. . Put your files in the proper folders in this dummy path. Then simply add the "Runtime" folder to your zip file. And everything else (sub folders and everything in them) will come with it automatically. When people unzip this Runtime folder into their Poser folder (wherever that may be). It will probably say something like "Runtime already exists. Wanna do this anyway? Just click "yes". And it will load the stuff just fine. ScottA

Thank you, that did it. I was trying the same thing on the desktop and getting paths I didn't want. This would not be a bad FAQ to keep around for other providers of freebies. Emily
