I'm trying to make aspotlight shining up in the sky. I have lightcone enabled on a spotlight, and placed in a can like spline object. It is giving me this woerd mirrored reflected beam coming out the side/bottom. I've been messing with it all day, and am left scratching my head. Does wnyone know what is the solution. Thanks, kaom

it may be a lightcone glitch perhaps sealing the can bottom with a disc would help

It looks like you're area rendering, too. Sometimes that renders differently than scene rendering (at least in RDS). Might try rendering the whole scene and see if it's still there....

Thanks, but the bottom is solid, I made a can shape in the spline modeler with a bottom built in. I'm going nuts with this. I hope it's not a glitch, but it very well could be, because I'm doing everything I can think of, but no success so far. Thanks, kaom

maybe converting to vertex object and using the ray tracer (not the hybrid)
