I just got done rendering this. It tok 6 hours at Normal Anti-Aliasing, but it looks , so I'm happy. If anyone wants to learn how to make waves like this with symmetrical lattices, I'd be glad to teach you how. I do it using Illustrator, Photoshop, and Kai Power Tools-Gradient Designer. If anyone wnts to know how, let me know. I'm starting to like Bryce 5, and the interface doesn't bother me. kaom

Here's a little tutorial on how I make my waves. I hope It inspires some of you to make your own. I'd like to see what people come up with. I'm sure some of you will invent some new techniques. Have fun, and let me know if you have any questions. kaom

Excellent tutorial Kaom. I really like the way you set this tutorial up. Clean easy to use and understand, is there a way Ken can add a tutorial page much like they have in the Rhino forum? Griggs

Ken, Just let me know, and I'll supply whatever I can. I really like making waves this way, they can look pretty cool. If anyone else out there has another way of doing it, I'd like to know how, New techniques are always a great way to learn something that may be useful in another way. kaom

cool beans-Ive always made waves in rhino by extruding a curve, the adjusting the control points for added shape.

I'd like to see one. I use Rhino, but have never even gotten close to getting wave in it. I'd love to see some screen shots of how you do it. I'd like to be able to pull that off. I'm a wave addict, an dlove seeing images of them, especially 3D waves. Post one of thos puppies , so I can get an idea of what your doing, I'm not exactly a pro with Rhino, so any tips will help me out. Thanks, kaom
