I don think these are texture errors but artifacts related to a combination of your monitor and the way the overlay and text are displayed with respect to the underlying tones of the character's skin. At certain levels of zoom I can't see any errors. But at different zoom values I see blocks of discoloration which I assume are the errors you are referring to. When I switch to my better monitor the artifacts disappear altogether. Another clue is you will notice that the blocks of discoloration seem to correlate to the raster line where the overlay is. I'm tempted to get the character myself just to validate this hypothesis. One can always use another Asian beauty. ;)
