As a C4D user since version 6 I can say with absolute certainty that C4D is NOT being used to make porn or anything involving complex human interaction because C4D does not have the Character animation tool set for this.

google "C4D Character animation" and all you will find are cartoonish clips of "Cute" characters and anthropomorphized animals etc

As far as Vray for C4D yes its Great for high quality production GI animation renders( I have it as well) but for stills... I can get the same quality with Blender Cycles and the free Export script from Daz studio ( cycles soon coming to poser!!)

Once I caught on to this, it's really funny even though true. Language checked, but it's really not that bad. More like Webshite and other references to terms that are descriptive of a stable floor. rules of renderathon (or renderathong)!
are basically stuff you bought rendered out of the box.

tweaking means you spent less than 10 minutes on setting it up,

twiddling 10-30 minutes,

more than 30min is disqualified as renderathon

doesn't need background stuff,

clothes poke through okay.

character skins/morphs wear a thong or skimpwear to show off the skin and definition.

usually renderathons last several hours, snacks, chips, whisky while rendering allowed.

give a list of products used, what lights used, brief desc of tweaks or twiddles done.

The next few days are going to be fun. I'm donating my time & skills in sewing to one of the instructors at my son's DoJo. She needs a Kimono sewn in 10 days so she can wear it at the Black Belt Spectacular. She's doing a traditional Japanese fan dance & going straight into a weapons demonstration halfway through. I've not sewn a Kimono before so it should be interesting. All I can say is thank heavens for Simplicity patterns.
