As a C4D user since version 6 I can say with absolute certainty that C4D is NOT being used to make porn or anything involving complex human interaction because C4D does not have the Character animation tool set for this.
google "C4D Character animation" and all you will find are cartoonish clips of "Cute" characters and anthropomorphized animals etc
As far as Vray for C4D yes its Great for high quality production GI animation renders( I have it as well) but for stills... I can get the same quality with Blender Cycles and the free Export script from Daz studio ( cycles soon coming to poser!!)
