Hello...I use Inflatable Dolls as Props in My Photography....that is why I mention this in the Photography Forum....and not the Poser Doll Forum...or Digital Comics. I take Photographs, however a profound thing happened to Me....on the way to the Forum...I shall explain...got Your Cocoa? I purchased 5 Inflatable Dolls from a Store....at the cost of NZ$4.00 each...."Give Me Twenty Bucks worth of Martians!" I said to the Woman Owner of the Store. I can hear Her looking at Me....She may think Me ...err...Odd. After showing her the Blow Up Doll, She hurriedly packaged them....and relieved Me of My Money....laughing at the thought of me taking photos of them on Foxton Beach....and the Invasion. Two Day's later I returned to the Shop...for a Wee Toy I had seen....this same Woman....now had a Friend in the Store, and She made Fun of Me...."This Gentleman has brought 5 Martian Blow Up Dolls...to stage an Invasion" Giggle Giggle ...both Old Crones .. Giggle Giggle.... I now told the Woman....that I would need to make a bigger Order of the Martians, as I had managed to Promote them on the Internet as "Venus Inflatable Love Dolls", and was selling them at US$50.00 each. I have since had a Friend "pop" into the Shop...and say..."I have seen those on the Internet...for Sale!" I lie to You not ...I passed the Shop on My Walkies......and as I predicted....the Cost of an Inflatable Martian has Skyrocketed! Soon they will be more valuable than Elton John's Hair Root Implants ....have You got an Inflatable Martian...want one?...*wink* *wink* *nudge**nudge*....say no more :)

That is the best story I've heard in quite some time! We'll be seeing these guys pop up all over. Particularly if blown too hard. [Oh my! Hope I haven't contributed to this madness...]

"I now told the Woman....that I would need to make a bigger Order of the Martians, as I had managed to Promote them on the Internet as "Venus Inflatable Love Dolls", and was selling them at US$50.00 each." Must be all the people who've been abducted wanting some payback for the probes... :)

I also await eagerly...like One watches the *Stock Market*...the Movement in the price of Blondie Dolls. The Enterprising Woman in the Local $2.00 Shop...suggested to Me...that nobody wanted Barbie Dolls anymore , and that is why She had them extra cheap. However, I have now convinced the Woman....that I ....the Glorious Beloved Tender High Commander...has got a "New Market" for the Doll....a New Brand Name....and She has shown a great interest, in the Launch of My "Cynlee Doll"....already I have amassed Fashion Accessories, Clothing, Footwear and Smalls...from other...*Inferior Dolls*....to make the much sought after "Cynlee Doll"....of which Teddy is trying out the Prototype...*sigh*..

Ahhh Ted my old mate, I think now I finally begin to understand...you share the same birthplace as the boys from Split Enz (best incarnation of their various bands IMHO) and Peter Jackson...hmmmmm...it's all starting to make sense...

Aw Tedz, I saw Split Enz play live at Monash University's Student Lounge years (& years & years) ago ~ this was back in the days when they used to wear their very colourful suits and had the crazy hair....singing songs like "I See Red, I Ssee Red, I See Red!" Ah, those were the days! Yep, as you most astutely thought, I live over the other side of the puddle in Skippyland, Melbourne to be more specific! Hugz back!
