Thanks Laurie, I was wondering who RichieCunningham was. Waves at Riccardo. Do we want to merge threads? Or do they serve slighlty different purposes. Happy to go along with what the group wants.HI gang! Thanks to Riccardo for setting this up. I am here (as I've been for 20 years now!:)
Yeah we also had a LOT of animals this close to ready sad to say.... Wish I knew how to rig , package and etc. That's where most of them were "stuck".
Laurie (aka CWRW)
Mine was intended as a place where people could post what they would have done over at the Hive. Things like Flint's beautiful renders, Stezza Carrara renders and just chat about anything that struck. A lounge where we could congregate.
Nothing wrong with two lounges.

Hi all, thank you for coming here from the Hive. So nice to see you here as well :-)
But sorry @Pendraia, I did not know you were about to do the same here:
https://www.renderosity.com/forums/threads/3002484/life-after-the-hive
This thread of mine was meant to do the same of yours, actually; so, I wonder, too, what should we do?
Keep just one thread to not confuse things, keep both, merge them, use both but for different things (show renders/everything else - definitely HW3D/off topic - serious/silly - ... - ...)?
Well, these threads are meant for the HW3D community, so let's hear what do you ALL think.
Brainstorming officially opened :-)
I don't see a reason why we can't have two threads. My thoughts would be to possibly use them for two purposes. Perhaps one for general discussion, and one for posting projects and images, and resources.
While a sub-forum would have been great, I am dubious if Renderosity would do that. If someone with more clout than I wants to inquire, the worst they could do is say no.
I checked just before posting this, and the Hivewire3D forums are no more. I was hoping they might be in a read-only state, but the address is unreachable completely.
The New HD Toaster from Wamco toasts bread more evenly and acurately than Standard Toasters. Take advantage of the FULL resolution of your bread and try one today, because if your toast isn't in High Definition, you are not getting the most of your toast!
There's nothing wrong with you having multiple threads. Have as many as you need.
As far as a sub-forum, that's above my pay grade, but it would depend on how active you all are.

Check out my store here or my free stuff here
I use Poser 14 and Windows 11
I have bought a few things from HW3D on this site as have many others,
so a dedicated forum is not an unreasonable ask IMO
there are forums for non Renderosity softwares etc after all
no real reason any vendor couldn't have a forum then

Good reason to be active then....There's nothing wrong with you having multiple threads. Have as many as you need.

Waves at Wendy...

(this is the first time I try to open a thread, so forgive me if I do something wrong; I am doing this because...)
The official Hivewire 3D forums are closing on the 31th July 2026.
https://community.hivewire3d.com/threads/hivewire-3d-forums-will-be-closing.4801/
This was sad news.
A lot of people enjoyed that place, with all the images, chats, tips, advices, freebies that were posted.
And the HW3D store has moved here at Renderosity quite a long time ago.
So I thought: why not having here a forum thread about Hivewire, where people that used those HW3D forums can still meet and keep in touch?
This is just a humble try...
If it will work, it will be very nice to not lose those contacts.
On the other hand, if this thread will not be used, well, no problem, it was worth trying anyway!
Therefore, I hope to see around here some HW3D forums "veterans", and, who knows, maybe some new faces as well :-)
