Remember...No matter where you go there you are
Here in Newfoundland it's also Memorial Day. Yes, we have November 11, but July 1st has always been more about the First Day On The Somme
Our Newfoundland Regiment was basically wiped out at Beaumont Hamel on July 1, 1916. 780 went "over the top" against the Germans, only 68 were able to answer the roll call on July 2nd. An 80 % casualty rate. The dead included 14 sets of brothers, including four lieutenants from the Ayre family of St. John's. These were our brightest and best of that generation that we lost, who knows what they might have achieved had such insanity never taken place? So it's a mixed day here on "Da Rock". We mourn in the morning, then at noon switch over to party mode to celebrate Canada Day.
I did not know that about the Newfoundland Regiment...I have a deep respect for all Brothers in Arms from all Countries some are comrades other the enemy on the battlefield but they all deserve the respect and honor due all true Believers in Duty and Service. Here in Newfoundland it's also Memorial Day. Another hot day, another hot model.

Not 100% certain how good that right hand actually is, pretty sure the thumb's tucked wrong-ish, but overall not bad since just for practice not serious work. Also got some useful "accidents" when trying to get a guy wearing satin and lace bow manties -- was a request on a Facebook M/M romance novel group that gave me the idea. But the AI put him in bow ties instead.

Maybe next time I'll put tie on my no-no list when prompting anything with bows in it, no matter which gender my character is meant to be.
The phrase that started me on this kick does not give much good results as-is in Stable Diffusion, I really had to work to get the idea across. But if anyone wants to try with MidJourney or whatever, have at it:
"muscle men in lingerie"
Those who use Midjourney, they've dropped some more new stuff if you want to get "weird". https://youtu.be/1oZDvkBAnyU

Midjourney 5.2Wow! That is lovely. Got a feeling someday I'll probably sub to MJ and learn how to properly use it. Much more affordable I think than trying to upgrade my graphics card at the moment. Darn thing costs half as much as the whole computer, some of them even more so. :-(
Midjourney 5.2Okay, I just upscaled all 4 images from a set, and the upscaled images were completely different from the ones in the set. Same subject but completely different images. Has anyone else experienced this?

men need frilly underwear (I wear men's underwear for comfort)
I am just frilled by these renders ❤
Cleo rocks! Fiddled about with Wombo the other day and got these. Bit late but I reckon it's Caturday somewhere. :-)

Hmmm... unexpected artifact/fake signature or some such on that one. Didn't notice until now. :-(
Also the ClipDrop site has StableDiffusion XL in its free tools section. Tried getting kitty inviting belly rubs but even with reference photo uploaded, it just will not do that. Did give me this cutie, though.

Also has some kind of artifacts that look kinda like attempts at real or fake logos/signatures/.etc in addition to the site's own watermark. Paid users apparently won't be watermarked, at least not with the Clipdrop tag. Best use of that site to date, though, has been Uncrop, with second best being cleanup for fiddly bit fixes my old Photoshop can't manage so well. Their ReImagine XL, though, leaves much to be desired. Have not gotten a single thing of use from that one and it is almost totally crippled unless you pay. The Upscale tool on that site is also a big Nope in my book. Gave me bigger render, yes, but made my perfectly rendered character's face into a horror show. Will stick with the one by tencentarc for that, heck even Cupscale, while not perfect, does not make such a mess.
Canada Day was pretty good even though I did not get out anywhere. Just stayed home goofing off with my music, my books and the computer making pretty pictures. There were fireworks on the wharf but I didn't notice any individual/private displays like in previous years and on New Year's Eve. Probably due to the early fire season and more regulations, which I must say, were needed because oh so many idiots out there when it comes to things that go bang.
And to my American friends and neighbours, Happy (upcoming) July 4th! I'll see if I can't find some patriotic frilly knickers to put on those hot, hot beach boys. ;-)
::snicker:: Maybe I'll try some boobs on 'em too. Did it a few times in Poser, though to be fair one was an alien from a planet where all genders had, shall we say, interesting anatomy. Which led to all sorts of misunderstandings with humans who just couldn't stop ogling them.
As for butts, well, everybody has those. Even silly Earthmen. ;-)
It is indeed a lovely autumn scene. MidJ looks more tempting day by day -- and I am still on the fence about Photoshop and Firefly. Only so much money to go around and I may end up moving again this year, which will put me a bit behind until sorted. Didn't really plan to but there's a chance of getting a more suitable apartment back in my old hometown, not five minutes away from family. Gotta wait until after the holiday weekend to find out more details as it MUST be accessible, but I'm hoping it'll work and be around the same monthly rent as I'm paying now. Current apartment's not bad, especially given the state of the market these days, but it's too far from home and also a bit too small even though it's just me. Fingers crossed it's do-able.
Back on-topic, I have attained upside down kitty! Used this Zoo Image Generator and picked DALL-E from the list of models with prompt: cat is laying on her back with her fluffy belly up in the air, inviting belly scritches
These are the best of the lot.

Took four or five attempts because at least half of each batch weren't right, mostly due to bad cropping. But it is possible.
