2023 versions using /describe. It actually mentioned "Bryce 3D" on one of them hahaaaaaaaaa. I took some of the description removed unneccesary flotsam and added some of my own
a green dragon holds a bottle of beer in an old tavern with beamed walls and ceiling, in the style of witchy academia, english countryside scenes, whistlerian

This one's using the image in the prompt in addition to the text as used in first pic. Although there was no mention, it does pretty much look like the old DAZ dragon !

Whoa! Must be quite the wizard, wonder what they're gonna do with all those creatures. Also wonder if maybe next thing added will be castle or maybe even a whole city in one of those magic jars. Are they being safely preserved because they're all endangered and the wizard is trying to protect them, or is it imprisonment for nefarious purposes. Inquiring minds want to know.
Surreal stuff is interesting, love the beaches, and those drunk dragons are a hoot. More I need to catch up on, I know, since this thread moves practically at warp speed. Anyway, coolness all around!
Been working more on Purple. Went with the 2nd pattern then fiddled around with curves and a hue/sat adjustment layer to tone the red down. So now I have a wall that I like and is not in urgent need of shooting. But ... I hate the chair! Both of them. Not sure if it's the colour or the shape or the height or position that's the problem but neither chair is working with this room.
Or am I being too picky? Always a possibility.

This is going to sound a bit harsh...but i am trying to help here...
Been working more on Purple. yeah i'm not so sure about the Purple, ( personal preference and all that) the 2nd pattern works the way it is... your not wrong about the the chair! its everything.. more height to the chair!, go lighter brown, Highclere Wing Chair shape and a different position or the angle, so it feels like Watson is perched on the edge of the seat...
I want those castles in belljars for my shelves
Your magic is indeed mighty!
We'll have to agree to disagree about the purple in this case, next time he'll have a more stylish outfit. Or not ... I might send him and Sherlock off to go skinny dipping somewhere in the Bahamas. For the sake of science and the Game, of course. ;-)
Did not know what those chairs were called until now so I consulted the oracles of Google, lo and behold! That is exactly what I am in search of. Just been running some regular brown leather armchairs and a batch of antique ones in SD, now I will see what I can do about the kind you mentioned. Higher back, lighter brown, different angle, yes? And he definitely should look like sitting on the edge.
Thank you kindly, sir. You have been most helpful. You all have. Much appreciated. :-)
Wizards, like unto cats, are notorious for being lazy and stubborn. Not surprised you had to threaten him, maybe next time try tuna or ... no, that probably only works for cats. ;-)
Very lovely dragon-in-a-globe, though. Would love to own one like that in real life, an aunt gave me one as a birthday present many years ago. Can't remember now if I left it stored when I moved or gave it away but I really don't regret the loss as it was one ugly ar$ed dragon that I mostly kept out of sight (except when she visited). Been looking for one I'd be proud to display but not much luck. Maybe someday...
Still trying to sort my chair problem. Think I got the right type, now to get it positioned properly and have done with it. Never before have I been so tempted to give up on a job and move on. Can't remember having so much trouble with a render since the last time I used Poser and made the mistake of trying to put fur on the old Millennium cat. ::shudder:: To this day I cannot go near the Hair Room.
Today's test drafts, if anyone's interested. Pretty sure by now I must be getting on everyone's nerves with this thing, let alone my own.

Well its much improved since i last saw it....Byrdie..!
The only issue...from my point of view is the angle of the Highclere Wing Chair, you need it in the same same sort of position as the chair in the background, that would put Watson perched on the edge and in the middle, at the moment his position does not relate to the position of the chair or vice versa....OR...move the chair more central and move Watson closer to edge of the frame... the viewers right , rule of thirds...well best you and do in a square image....i'm running out of ideas...!
lol @rhol: How does that song line go again? Oh yeah, "You took the words right out of my mouth!" It is indeed a perfect Eeyore situation.
Winnie looks like on his way to a birthday party, what with that balloon and the confetti/whatever. Or maybe he's off to try and cheer up poor ol' Eeyore after his very bad rainy day.
With regards to "Purple", what I've posted is actually being done in Photoshop using the base render which I've ripped apart to replace the ugly old walls and the blue fuzzy thing that he was sitting on. Would be much simpler if I could do all the editing in Stable Diffusion but my graphics card just meets the bare minimum to run an older version, so things like image2image and upscaling and outpainting are pretty much a no-go unless that situation changes. I do know you can use it on google collab if not enough local horsepower but I'm not sure how to do that or what their TOS and allowed/not allowed boundaries are. Besides not using the service for anything blatantly illegal, of course. Some services are not fan art friendly, in addition to being PG-rated only.
Long story short, I gotta do most changes and/or complicated pieces the old fashioned way. Tried a bunch of different chairs, all nicely rendered then upscaled online and imported into the main .psd file. They aren't bad, and yes, I have gotten closer, but still not it. What I have done, as suggested, is move Watson closer to the edge/right -- can NOT believe I'd forgotten about the Rule of Thirds. Doh! ::smacks head:: Much better that way for sure.
Also may be better having just the one chair in the background. After all, whatever he was sitting on was barely noticeable to begin with.
@Luna -- I don't mind you playing with John, it's Sherlock you gotta watch out for. Very possessive of his blogger, that one is. ;-)
2nd of your tries is very close to what I was going for, actually almost had it to that point but thought chair back too off/narrow. Then again, was a slightly different styled chair. But it is very helpful in seeing where it needs to be, so thanks very much for that.
@gill -- Even your failures are good. But that last one ... perfect! Real ones would sell like hot cakes around here, especially in tourist season. And I'd likely be first in line to buy.
Have a few more ideas I want to try out in SD now, I refuse to be defeated by a chair. Even if it is a posh leather one. :-)

Leonardo did much better with just a Dragon and not a Dragonman.
