Anybody seen the new rule for the AI gallery? We now have to post the prompt along with the image. I asked what happens when they don't match, like for example the really cool witches I kept getting once when all I wanted was cats. Does this new policy mean I won't be allowed to post something otherwise worthy when that happens? Not to mention works done using image to image, where the prompt by itself won't give the same results. Will we have to post original photos, etc. too in that case? Inquiring minds want to know.

P.S. Prompt Example: "Sherlock in Baker Street apartment, sexy, sultry, aroused, pout, nudity, anatomically correct, realistic, finely detailed, highly detailed skin, dramatic, action, photo, cinematic, soft lighting, high quality"

PPS: Adding to the confusion, the model used that gave me a whole folder full of these is meant to produce gay male pinups. :eyeroll: So much for all-knowing AI.

I saw it and replied also, Byrdie.  I want to know why?  What caused this revision of posting an image?  I don't save any of my prompts.  I create an image and then it's to the trash can with it.  I don't want all of my stuff looking very much alike.  I don't keep track of what filter, what version of the app, what size/what exclusions/etc.  

I keep track of some stuff, if I'm doing something in a series where I want a similar but not identical look. And if something works really well -- or doesn't -- then I want to know how I got it to do that. But I often change things on the fly, same as swapping out props in Poser when I'd change my mind or what I'd started with was not quite it. Right now, for instance, I am trying to add a :cough: strategically placed cushion and having a devil of a time getting it to work. Might end up bringing it into Daz Studio and doing it there, since SD is not cooperating. My rig is not so great at inpainting due to the vram issue and I can't use Nightcafe or the like on this one because NSFW. Heck, they'd probably disqualify it even with the cushion, so any upscaling & such has to be done locally. And if I get it fit for the gallery, the prompt used would likely violate or at least seriously bend, fold, spindle and otherwise deface Rendo's TOS. Even if the actual art being posted does not. Have they considered how to deal with that? Because pinup prompts and artistic nudes by their very nature must contain higher than PG-13 rated language.

My question would be then why don't the poser/daz galleries postings have to list all those ready made presets that they nearly all use?

I've been posting mine in mixed media lately anyway as they're not just straight AI, they are post processed/postworked/photobashed or whatever.

I just uploaded a DAZ Filament render to YouTube where the top disappeared on a model, so it's not just AI making it's own decisions about our artistic direction

I have to say, where Rendo seemed pro-AI, it's recently become very anti-AI, first in the store, now in the gallery. Most disappointing.

So it would seem. :sigh: Those of us who use AI fairly responsibly, as a tool same as any other, ought not be tarred with the same brush as people doing a*-h0le things with it and calling it "art". I do hope the powers-that-be consider this when making rules and policies.

In Mid-J every prompt you have ever made is readily (more or less) available you just find the image in your user gallery and it's right there but I still want to know why do they want it. The fact that the saying it was generated in AI should be enough, AI image is segregated in a separate AI gallery would someone post a Poser or Daz in there I don't think so, what are they trying to control anyway. I'm not going to wax philosophical about it the easy way around it is just don't post in the AI Gallery here just post in this thread, he!! the regulars here will generally gladly share prompts just with asking or just give it away. What are they worried about I doubt any AI Imagery is going to take over the world He!! if you're worried about AI becoming self aware don't let the Govt. or  Military Industrial Complex  get it's grubby paws on it they're probably the only ones stoopid enough to want play with that basket of Snakes anyway.

I will happily give anyone my prompts...all you have to do is ask...but there's no way in He!!... i'm spending 20 mins on each image explain what i've done, because as soon as they read its AI....its dismissed anyway...won't be posting anything to the genpop gallery...in any shape or form, and if i'm expected to do it here in the forum as well..? ( somewhat of a gray area )...guess i will be posting elsewhere....

Wow! Awesome stuff there, Darkglass. I've a feeling you are pretty used to herding cats if you can get an AI to cooperate like that. Most days I've got all I can do to keep Stable Diffusion from chasing its own tail. Or sticking tails where they really don't belong. ;-)

But yes, even mentioning AI gets one the equivalent of the Kiss of Death in some circles. Because no matter how good the work is or how much time and effort one puts into it, or how long one has spent in the traditional arts before adding this tool to the ol' arsenal, those people have already decided it isn't worthy and neither are you. 

So is it any wonder people aren't exactly in a hurry to disclose?

Very kind of you to say so Byrdie.....i simply won't spend my time trying to justify myself and why should i, i do what i do for me....no matter what medium i use ......no one is really interested....it's a way of life....only interested in the end result, they look at it move on.....straight and to the point....

I started out doing it on even my YouTube videos but like listing assets used in 3D renders it got old fast.

Honestly Curating is a better word than prompting anyway as it's the human eye choosing and further processing through the AI that gets the best results.

My creativity with AI took a huge hit when 3D content creators I liked objected to it so I ended up having to remove comments listing their products from my mixed media videos.

I was in a pretty big, if not one of the biggest, AI art groups over there and ended up leaving because it was rapidly mutating into a toxic cesspit of trolls, both the anti-AI and the nasty political kind. More sludge than I cared to wade thru for the sake of the occasional relevant posts that shared tips and ideas on how to get good results. Haven't found a replacement yet. I do have a DeviantArt account, but haven't used it in at least a couple years. Never got much commentary or even views of what I did post there, so ... 

Guess I'll just stick around here, for now anyways.

Act as a stable diffusion photography prompt generator that accepts a visual description and outputs a detailed paragraph that I can copy into my diffusion model. Include a variety of photography-related terminology including the description of the exact [Lens] you use and most importantly a description of the [lighting style]. Now give me a clear and concise natural language visual description of the following: then the basic description of what I am looking for.

I've yet to have dealings with ChatGPT, though I have heard a lot about it. I think one AI at a time is enough for me to try figuring out, though I might look into it later. Would be ever so nice if SD wasn't so fussy about how many words/tokens one can use, but it is what it is, eh?  Of course, it might also be I need more education on the matter. Found a few tutorials, but they mostly seem to be for a different flavour than the one I have and things don't always work the same way or even work at all. Sometimes I feel like I'm flying blind with it -- and believe me, I know blind!
