AI Generated Art F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Aug 27 11:07 am)
Dream, by Wombo https://dream.ai/create
Yeah I know dA is my primary home and I know 2 of the people doing it they are on my followed list at dA. I gave both of them a blast of sh!t for it why one would want to pick on artists of any Genre is beyond me.A dragon snake tree, using the HDR filter in Wombo. No post work just as is. Loving the creations on this thread. So much talent. I cant believe though that DA is having such a poll. Art is art. However we choose to express it.

wendyvainity posted at 10:25 AM Wed, 19 October 2022 - #4447005I am using Visions of Chaos on my computer, that was Deforum Stable Diffusion with just a prompt for the zooming shots and the same prompt with a simple panning video of a Carrara render, it can use video and/or image2image, I have used iPad selfies and shots of my living room too as well as renders. sadly 768x768 is the maximum my 2080Ti can handle and I have to underclock it to not overload my PSU.Nicely done Wendy. I'm not sure I've seen an animated AI before, and I like it.
cool thread so much awesome AI Art
I created a new channel for mine
I upscale with ESRGAN for the videos and interpolate them with RIFE.
Mostly I do quick Filament renders in DAZ and run them through the AI.
I have a dA membership but hardly use it, I've only now discovered they actually have forums. All I can say is Yikes! Have not seen this poll of which you speak, just a couple of posters ragging on about how all AI art is plagiarism, theft and crap. Not gonna take some of them particularly seriously, seeing as how most of the other topics they pontificate on over there are more suited to 4chan than an art community. To scrub my brain I fired up SD and made some more hamster band . Klingon rock opera. ;-)

I take a minute to step out for a smoke break and bam, the place fills up, lol. Great to see all the tips and advice everyone is sharing! I thought I did my homework and knew a thing or two about this stuff, but now I know you can get into some realy deep craziness if you want. (walking away with head bowed, tail between legs, for now, ha) I'm going to have to give Lenord a raise... ;)
Welcome anyone and everyone who likes playing with the AI, the more the merrier, spread the word this is the fun place to be! Hopefully some more talented rendo people I've invited over will drop in, some amazing Night Cafe out there for one, something I could use a few tips in myself. As for DA I haven't been there in a while but I read some of the anti ai rants, its to be expected when something new like this comes along. For me its a bit like photography, you have to take 50 shots to get just one good one. So I'm not going to post every single variation, just the final one that I'm happy with. Of course sometimes you get lucky and the first one is the money shot, lol. Just use the honor system and say thanks and give credit to someone if their prompt inspired you in your image. The fractal community have been doing this for a long time sharing params.
Great to see people are having a good time with the rock'n hamster challenge, I wasn't sure if even one image would show up. If interest continues I'll consider a gift certificate prize or two for the best ones. Who doesn't like a prize eh...
I like all 4 of them, but I like the 3rd (bottom left) the best. Wouldn't mind seeing how you upscale it.

Another thing I like about AI, in this case Midjourney, is how it can give some old stuff new life. This started out as an old M4 zombie render I did in Daz Studio. Now with a little facelift he's looking much better, lol...
Gotta be the worst case of Psoriasis I've ever seen

#2 man, it has a River running through it...Or cool landscape options from another Daz render from 2014, the good old days before a crazy covid world...
Going to have to upscale one of these... ;)

A factor of the Volumetrics in Fractals the interaction of Light and NoiseFractals sure make good mist for some reason...

Since "realistic" landscapes are where my interests are most of the time. I am finding new words to use in the prompt that are getting me really close to what I like. For example, Gill mentioned using "golden hour and epic landscape", Lenord mentioned "high detail", rhol_figament mentioned "panoramic, cinematic/etc". I have been using some those and really like the results. I can pretty much find adjectives to describe, but these other types of phrases are really helpful. So when you guys post your prompts, I pick through them and write down what I think I can try in Wombo. Thanks to all for sharing.
For my small contribution: DOF (shallow or deep); center composition (wombo tends to off -set the compositon so this sometimes helps).
I also saw in a YT tut that 4k and 8k mean nothing as far as Resolution or quality of render goes but it does affect the DoF. Resolution is set by --ar 16:9 or 9:16 or whatever and 4k or 8k will affect the Dof of objects in the nearfield. Quality is --q 2 or 1 or 5 which is experimental and may not work the q# will affect render time for fastest render I usually use a q of 2 seems to be good

Vladimir has the best videos on YT! I've followed him for years as he did a ton of Vue and Plant Factory vids.I also saw in a YT tut that 4k and 8k mean nothing as far as Resolution or quality of render goes but it does affect the DoF. That's really beautiful! I'm starting to move away from landscapes as I've done so many over the years.Since "realistic" landscapes are where my interests are most of the time. Centre composition is a good one - I have a heap of prompts and notes that expands daily :)

Heres a (very long!!!) list that some may find useful as there are image references to go with the names. Page can take a bit of time to load....

Cool I need something like that really not familiar with styles other than Giger, Da Vinci, Bosch and that's about it.Heres a (very long!!!) list that some may find useful as there are image references to go with the names. Page can take a bit of time to load....

Just updated my Stable Diffusion install. Have not figured out all the changes yet from last version but anyway here's a cat.

And a wizard. Or a cat in wizard robes, that's what the prompt was supposed to be. But I keep getting a lot of witches without cats. I call it the Schrodinger Effect. Cat or no cat? You never know. ;-)

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday
Well something interesting happened this morning on Mid-J, I had an idea and wanted to investigate and after a couple variations I got a Warning "Out of fast time for the month" "don't worry though you can continue with (fast time) by adding $5-10-15 to your account or going to Relax mode). Now I thought I had an unlimited sub for a month...No it is limited to X number of images/month guess I reached X in a few days. I think they severely underestimated the number images an Addict might do ( or actually counted on it) it IS a money making generator after all. I'll use relax mode see how it works plus I have a big backlog of imagery to work on it's not like I'm Fired unemployed, I'm Retired I do what I want when I want.
