Quote - Daz, C7, allegedly.
We have the ability to animate dynamic hair in C6 right now. Daz doesn't have a video tutorial for it.
I was just wondering if anyone, reading through these forums, knows if there's video tutorial on the subject. The pro's have command over the settings, and know a few tips and tricks, it would be helpful to watch them work.
Mark did a great job demonstrating how to model dynamic hair in his C6 tutorial at vtc.com but didn't have time to cover the actual animation aspect.
Carrara hair was a big deal on YouTube a long time ago. Then people lost interest. Maybe C7 will have the problems resolved.

Thanks guys, you’re right, it wouldn't make much sense to do a tutorial on something that's unpredictable.
One of the Genius types is testing hair in C7A and I wanted to help confirm results but animating hair isn’t my specialty....guess I'll have to just take time figuring it out.
I’ve tested particles, physics and figures.
Sometimes I think to myself "geez what ever happened to my sense of humor?" Anyway glad I didn't offend.
C7 Alpha is currently being tested. Dev are working to fix some things. C7 Beta to be release next week after improvements and fixes are implemented, if everything goes as planned.
The genius type I mentioned has been able to get some realistic animation results. In the process, he discovered a new phenomenon, but it might be related to one of the settings. That's why I wanted to help verify his results and tweak settings to see if we can achieve natural effects and predictable results. Just wish I was an expert there.
Hopefully by the time Beta is done and C7.0 is released, hair animation in Carrara, will be fun for everyone ![]()
