We're better-looking.

Just kidding!

The duties remain the same generally for both positions, but the Coordinator role has less responsibilities than the Moderator role.

Either flavour, however, will always be happy to assist in whatever way we can :-) Karen Poser Mod Edited for stupid typo >.<

the coordinators are the slaves of the mods, who are the slaves of the admins. o -- | ___

Only in the sense that an employee is a slave to a boss who is a slave to management. Of course, without the health benefits and a retirement plan. Coordinators are like interns, in a sense, with moderators acting as middle management, and all reporting to the administrators. Each level has increased responsibilities, and authority. It takes a special kind of person to take the abuse that coordinators and moderators often take, and try to take the high road of not responding as insults are thrown in their direction. I've found most coordinators and moderators to be commuity members who wanted to make a contribution to make Renderosity a better place. It isn't all that easy to please a wildly diverse and inconsistent public. I appreciate their efforts very much, because in general I think they are set an impossible task of not allowing a vocal minority run over the rights of other people, some of whom only speak in instant messages so that you never see what is being said or discussed. Happy spring to you all, and a Happy Easter to those who observe the day.

I believe that dialyn has given a fair assumption of the Roles...and, We as a Community should thank these People, who attempt...and succeed...from turning things into Bedlam :] most the time... Vote... for the Volunteer!

We got to do something. Mod#1: Yea, but not me. Theyre on their Kiddy porn, Nazi, no nudity right-wing conspiracy, deprived of free speech kick again. That's suicide to go in there. Mod#2: Well theres no way in hell Im doing it. New Cute wide-eyed Coordinator: Hi, Im the new coordinator here, and Im supposed to be helping you guys out. So whats the first thing you want me to do? Mod#1: blink blink Evil grin comes to face. Mod#2: blink blink blink Even bigger Evil grin.

I would love to be a moderator if not a I'll be a coordinator. What do i HAVE TO DO?

OpenMindDesign ( ) posted Sun, 27 March 2005 at 8:46 PM

I think that I would hate to be a moderator. I am much too sensitive and would never be able to take the abuse :0 I think you are all very brave :)
