Description
This is a bit difficult for me and hard to talk about so please be patient with me. My friend Richabri along with many others have asked what was wrong with my sister since we have her in the hospital all of the time and I told him and said I'd post it online for my other friends here to see her and understand what is wrong.
This is my sister Veronica and my 3 wonderful nieces Jade, Jaylinn, & Aschlynn.
A short time back Veronica was under a lot of stress and had a mini-stroke. The doctor's told us that this stroke activated an Arachnoid Cyst in her brain. (They tell me it's like a spider web in your head that cuts off the flow of fluid and keeps growing) Since then she began having horrible headaches to the point sometimes she can't even stand at times. Then her vision and hearing started to get worse. This will continue to only get worse until we can get a surgery for her. The only problem is there are 3 surgeries they can do and all are dangerous and have a success rate from 40% - 75%. We have had her at many hospitals and they have run countless tests to try to determine which one is best for her. We hope soon they will actually set a date for her to get this because each day it gets worse.
Something like this makes you realize what's really important in your life and I pray no one else has to go through this. I only wish each of you could know her & then you'd understand why she is so important to me.
Veronica is as kind, caring and sweet as she is beautiful & I'm not just saying that because she's my sister. She has 3 wonderful daughters who need their Mom very much and are afraid also.
If any of you wouldn't mind any prayers or kind words would be nice and I would pass them along to her.
If there was a way for me to take her place and suffer with this disease for her I'd do it in a heart beat and have no regrets. I'm not saying this because I'm brave but because she is the most important person to me in the world.
Thanks for looking, and for your words. I'll try to get a better photo of her & the girls up soon to replace this one. It was one I had in my wallet and I sat down and forced myself to do this not matter how much it hurt because so many of you have asked.

terrible thing to bear, not knowing if one can see their daughters grow up and all three not knowing by day to day if they will have a mother. I hope the very best for her and your family.when someone has such a problem, it is hard to imagine the pain they are enduring 24/7. all 4 are beautiful and I sincerely hope for a successful surgery

i am so sorry you all are going thru this... about 5 or 6 years ago, my sister was having a lot of headaches...at one point she was taking handfuls of aspirin or ibuprofin or whatever to help with the pain...but nothing really worked...she went to the dr, and ended up having to go in for surgery to figure it out...they found a cyst right in the middle of her brain...they couldnt remove it cuz of where it is, so they had to puncture it, and relieve the pressure...she is doing much better now...still has headaches once in awhile, but for the most part she is doing much better... i will say prayers for your wonderful family...keep the faith, and think good thoughts... hugs to you....
