Let's get to know you a bit better!

 

Does your username hold a special meaning to you or at all?

Shibashake: My username is based on one of my dogs, a Shiba Inu. Shiba Inus are funny and have very large personalities. They also have this unique head-shake (called the Shiba shake) that is well-known and well-loved by their owners. When I first started writing about Shiba Sephy and our adventures together, I decided to use shibashake.com for my website domain. It also became my username.

 

What software(s) do you favor (use the most)?

Shibashake: All my recent images are done in Daz Studio and Photoshop

When did you join Renderosity?

Shibashake: I joined in 2010. I remember that I was looking for fantasy backgrounds that I could compose with photographs of my dogs.

 

How long have you been doing art?

Shibashake: I have loved art ever since I was very young. When I was 5, I entered a coloring contest and won first prize. I was so happy. Much, much later, I started using Poser to create images for my websites and online articles. I started using Daz Studio about 2 years ago, and really got hooked on 3d-art then.

 

 

How do you feel your art defines you?

Shibashake: One of the things that I absolutely love about art is that it allows me to capture fantastical characters and environments. I can go swimming with mermaids, ride on a dragon, or watch Queen Elsa dance with a kangaroo. Anything is possible, and the only limit is my imagination.

Can tell us a bit more about yourself?

Shibashake: My current job is "personal assistant" to my dogs. I have three bosses, a male Shiba Inu (Sephy) and two Siberian Huskies (Shania, and Lara). My duties include food preparation, walking, grooming, lots of tummy rubs, and picking up poop. It is a very glamorous lifestyle. When my bosses give me a break, I may work on my art or write articles for my websites.
