Description
One APO flame for the spiral... and another for the background, put together in PSP7.
You guys are so wonderful... and a few of you wanted me to share some "secrets"... well... I don't have many secrets but what I do have, I'm more than willing to share with this group. To that end, I've put the bassinette flame up for grabs on my site here.
What I've learned is this: if you discover a neat flame but the fog/noise/dust just doesn't seem to want to behave... find the polygon that is crucial to the design but not nescessary in its current state and "minimize" it by sliding all the corner circles into one "dot". You have to be steady and not overshoot your mark... the circles must line up absolutely perfectly. This allows you to carry on with a clean flame.. and at the same time, depending on where you locate that single dot... you'll get "pearls" or sparkles in your finished flame.
Note that in the bassinette flame, the yellow transform is my "dot"... it is transform number 1. This will vary depending upon your needs... but play with it and I think you'll find it works really well in most cases... :)

!!! I was there for hours!!!! after realising how the triangles worked, a small adjustment to the left.... less haze, more structured etc...but watch the numbers too! then you will gain greater insight! very well done here Helen, always a pleasure to view your works.
