Description

As I promised on my last post "Overworked", here it is! My mecha. This is the first time I ever tried to create anything robotic, mechanical or even sci-fi so it took me some time and patience. I really learned a lot in the process, mostly patinece. =) 100% Bryce model and render on the image itself. The only postwork is on the frame and the lettering. The smaller images are WIP renders. Here are links to some of them: WIP1 WIP2 WIP5 WIP6 I will be posting more of this guy in the future. Rochr's images are a real inspiration, if not for his gallery I would not have tried this, he's a true innovator. Thanks Stefano for your support and thanks to all for stopping by.

He will be bach. This is outstanding work, truly professional quality. I really like the extreme detail you put into this character. Too bad he's not a poser model.

Alvin, you did it! It's awesome, so glad you tried your hand at modelling in Bryce... with these results! Materials are top-notch, the modelling also. It looks menacing and shiny, the attention to details is really striking. Now, you need only a bone-structure to begin animating him... :-) --- Excellent and a sure Hot20.

Ahhh, heres some top notch modeling! Superb piece man! I know it takes a lot of effort (AND patience), in creating mechas, and you did a hell of a job with this one! I especially love the claw! It also scared the pants of my mecha (hes hiding in a corner somewhere)! :) Hmmm...damn, now i have to make a more scary one... ;)

Thanks for all the kind comments everyone. I have to give credit to Rochr, I was constantly hanging out at his gallery while making this mecha, just to remind myself that it's not impossible.
