Description

taking the advice that you folks have given me, I now put a wall behind Penelope to lend more depth and substance to the image. As I said before, I welcome construct advice and this image is the result of said advice. Have a great weekend and thank you for your comments

and my vocabulary tends to drift southward as the evening goes on. My feet are suing for divorce today - it's been an interesting week to say the least.

nice work, she looks like she's having fun in her home. I agree, props are good but remember to keep them in proportion, too.

Well, I see Penelope is still being a little bit shy... I'll send the Girls over - maybe she can go wading with them! LOL

This really looks great, Mike! She's quite lovely, and enticing!

Now, enjoy a nice foot bath and get those feet all happy again!

A bit of peek-a-boo going on I see. Nice work Mike. Been away for too long. Will slowly catch up to what all you have been doing in the next couple of days. Have a great weekend too.

As soon as I saw this I thought, "Now there you go." Excellent work. Now if we could just get that darn glass wall out of the way.

That's cool. Try it with no props, no distractions, the wall isn't necessary. I'll post something to illustrate my point later today.

There is just the right amount of sheer substance in this piece Mike. Anything else would make it too busy in my humble opinion. I liked the first version too!

But not all images and scenes demand complex distracting backgrounds and props. Usually our images have a character in them, this is after all the purpose of the software, so why not make them the feature of the image. The rest is just space filling. I like the two wall effect though.

I don't remember how the previous installment looked, but if it's an improvement, all the better. In any case, an interesting study in textures.

You also changed the texture of the front partition---this is a whole other image. The intense markings on the wall are reflected/harmonized in the intense markings on the screen; and she's in between, peeking out. Another simple expressive concept from you. I don't know where your sense of 'scene' comes from, but you have a way with minimal scenes that capture a moment as pure design; like your model posed for you in a constructed set, to produce a perfectly set-up photograph. (And the darkness on her and the lower wall adds to the mystery.)

It's great to see you do various treatments of the same material: It's why I do multiple panel pieces: To vary an image several times. Hopefully it will inspire others to try the same.

The wall behind her is a wonderful addition indeed Mike.

She appears to be wearing her BD suit behind the rippled glass, well done.

Great concept, wonderfully realized! Now I've got to try it too!
