Description

Ontar: I doubt these are what the Sorcerer is looking for. They are normal and maybe a couple of magical weapons mixed in them. Tick: You use empty barrels to store them in? Ontar: Why not. Its not like they are going to be used anytime soon and weapon racks take up too much room and makes it easier for others to find what they are looking for. I know which ones are what, so I use the easiest method for myself. Lets move on to the next room and see what I have stored in there, though we might as well go to the last room that is where I keep the most powerful ones. That's probably what the Sorcerer is looking for. Tick: What do you think he is after? Ontar: He probably looking for the Staff of Magic and the Sword of Magic. They give the wielder more choices of magic to use. Such as the Sorcerer could use lets say a healers spell or an illusionist spell when normally he wouldn't be able too. But there is a draw back to the weapons, sometimes they misfire and instead of a lets say a sixth level spell becomes a twentieth level spell, which isn't bad if you are healing but devastating if its an offensive spell. Tick: So lets say if a spell was to affect a small area that staff or sword could cause it to cover a larger area without the user knowing until too late. A simple fire ball spell becomes a nuclear fire storm. Ontar: Precisely, that's what happened on Kainde and Straus, those were a mess, but the caster isn't affected. Tick: The two worlds that you destroyed, right? Are you sure you want him to have those? Ontar: Yes and no. But, how else do I get Seton free, unless we try to sneak in and free him. That would mean the two of us against a few thousand troops and servants of the Sorcerer. It would be easier to give him what he wants, though I rather not. Tick: Well, lead on. Marvelous job! I love the way he has stored the weapons. Maybe the Sorcerer just wants a decent cup of coffee that he doesn't have to pay an arm and a leg for. ;-)
