You know what this is about ;) Still got some tweaks and adjusts to make but I think I'm on the right track-ish. Lol.
I 'was' going to make a Dawn figure and I spent many hours doing everything I could do but the morphs for her. When we did get the morphs for her, I was - well, maybe I won't say what I was. You can't make her look much different than she already does without taking her into a sculpting program and chiseling at her face. All her facial morphs and expression morphs are symmetrical - that is they are not split into right and left sides - and so brows up means both go up equally. Eyes open or closed, both equally. Can't make any good expressions that way. Strictly from the pov of one who only poses her and dresses her, she's great. She bends well. She has nice nails and good lips for painting. Her eyes are kind of a...well, difficult...but way better than they were at first. I like her eyes (eye parts). However, from a developer's pov, she's a whole lot of work, imo.
So, this is the one I made. Her name is Rose, for what it's worth. I don't see a lot of point in making a 'morph' that looks like all the rest of them at this place in time. Those that do look different have been modified in some sculpting program, I guarantee it.
You 'can' get many of Joanna's hair sets to work on her, if you use the prop hair, adjust it to where you want it and then parent it to her head. Then, it will move with her head. I got Nerissa Hair to fit on her, too. So...it's possible - just a little extra work.

I can remember Vicky, the original and how I was amazed at the first poser programs... it took a long time for V3 to show up with all the major changes that made her into the superstar she was, lol.. Maybe Dawn will work out, maybe not. I will stick with the one I know. I am just that kinda guy... hahahahaha (this from a man divorced 4 times) She looks pretty good to me Ray.. Hope you got some rest.

This is a wonderful portrait, looks so real! I love those colors and the hair is fantastic. She looks great here. Her eyes and lips are quite enticing! Her skin rendered beautifully. The symmetrical morphing thing does not make sense and besides that, having another figure to buy clothes, hair and all manner of add ons, does not appeal to me at this time. She looks great, nonetheless.

She's looking great, Ray! A superb render and a great dedication to a cool lady and awesome artist! I've only played with Dawn a few times so far (way too much going on at the moment), but I'm less than impressed with the facial morphs - or lack thereof. I can't even make her smile as yet. She is very pretty, and I'll definitely do more renders with her, but I don't think she's going to put Vicky out of a job anytime soon..
