Description

In this picture we are next to last picture on the left and see the building that contains the electronic controls for the pumps scooping we see partially submerged on the right. At this point, down from the bridge that crosses the ditch which divides into two parts, the whole area, as you can 'see disappear, covered by water, the road that leads to the Aurelia highway, at the bottom where you see the black stripe of Pine-wood areas are more 'down and this means that in many places the water reaches two meters in height. Fortunately, the wave of full Serchio yesterday and 'passed without further damage, thanks to the work of many people who go a big thanks. This morning I try to go further into that area more close to the hills, if possible. Buona giornata e buon fine settimana Good day and good weekend Thanks for the comments and the favourites of previous image!

You are working like a news photographer theese days. You are making some good images, telling a story for the history books. I have worked as a news photographer for 30 years and know you have to set the feelings on hold a bit. Great work my friend.

Allen True, my shoes are full of mud to reach those places, but I could not help it, fatal attraction? Also responds to Ursula who kindly cares for me and my house 'close, but safe, in a more' high relative to lake level, but are areas where I took most of my photos and where I spend so much of my free time.

fabntastic reportage!! greande lavoro e foro mtragicamente belle.

when I was a child we always had the danger of flooding, but luckily my mother's house was on the highest part of the land and never flooded but 3/4's of the yard was covered in water.outstanding capture of mother nature's elements

Buona giornata e buon fine settimana Those lines on the buildings are so disquieting. I hope everyone gets plenty of help with the cleanup. My mother, who was 82 at the time of Hurricane Ike got, a lot of help from members of her church. It made such a difference to her peace of mind. Damage to large areas in a flood is always distressing, but when these are you favorite places it is even more so. I hope everything dries out soon and you are once more able to enjoy its riches. This is an excellent capture of the event.

Grande lavoro che state facendo. This picture is depressing and more fitting to the disaster it presents. I'm very glad to hear the disaster is not continuing. I hope the cleanup can begin and life returns to normal. Great work you are doing.
